Up to now, my parents and I have gone on numerous trips, starting from Italy which I visited all over- Sicily, Rome, Florence, all of Calabria, L'Aquila, Genoa, but I also went abroad as to Paris, Ibiza, Barcelona and I also went on a fantastic cruise.

My favorite trip is definitely the one to Barcelona, because there was a fabulous and almost magical atmosphere, different from Italy. The people were very nice and kind, but sometimes weird because they had a completely different way of thinking. My favorite places among the ones we visited there are the "Sagrada Familia" and  "Camp Nou" (Catalan for "new field") and the shop of the BARCELONA FC team where I bought a shirt of my favourite player, Lionel Messi.

But even if it was very beautiful like all cities it had a defect, which is crime. In fact, when we met the guide in Barcelona he immediately told us to be careful with the backpacks and wallets, because the pickpockets were very skilled, and he also recommended that we kept little money on us and to constantly be careful of the people around us.  This is because he explained  that in Barcelona a theft of less than 250 euros is not punishable!!!!

Anyway, I was able to visit the great works and taste the traditional foods(Paella and Catalana baccalà) of Spain thanks to my parents and their sacrifices- they made it possible for me to visit this splendid city even if it was a very long and difficult journey.

I must say though that it is a beautiful city with a climate very similar to ours and I recommend everyone visit it!

Like all adolescents, during this period I have also suffered a lot and I am sure that I encountered other problems such as: failure, anxiety, fear, envy, loneliness and insults.

But suffering also allowed me to help a dear friend of mine from secondary school who was in a very difficult situation due to the death of his grandmother. Thanks to my experiences I was able to comfort him and make him feel comfortable in talking to me about all his problems and I suggested going to a psychologist, who could help him. In fact thanks to all this after two weeks he felt better and still thanks me for everything.

I could give you all these tips because I understood what it feels like, and that you always need people to listen to you. In fact, when I was younger I always talked to my older brother who listened to me and always gave me excellent advice, but now more than with him because of his work, I discuss my problems with a dear friend of mine: Emanuele, who is always there in times of need. But I could always get through the hard times with my classmates and their comfort too.

In fact, just to give you an example in 2019/20, it was a very bad period for me and I suffered a lot from loneliness due to Covid, but thanks to all my classmates and my best friend I managed to get over it by making new friends. In fact, during that period  social networks  also helped me a lot, which at times made me smile and at times I comforted myself by seeing other people who had the same problems.

So in conclusion, in my opinion, all you need is a little understanding and someone who can help you and understand you as much as possible, comforting you even in the most difficult moments.

Since I was little I have loved watching movies of all genres, but my favorite is undoubtedly "CARS".
The protagonist of this film is a car named "LIGHTNING MCQEEN" his voice is played by the very famous Owen Wilson.
Lightning McQeen is one of the fastest cars competing in the "Piston Cup" competition and his dream is to win it.

Cars is a saga made up of 3 films, which are mainly about action, competition, sports and adventure and is suitable for all children and teenagers. I also liked it a lot because the moral of the film is that not only the destination counts but also the journey one makes in life.

Giovanni Falcone was a very courageous person, who expressed everything he thought and defended it even if he was threatened by a famous power called: the Mafia. He was against the mafia all his life- in fact, he was praised and respected by everyone, apart from the Mafia, who killed him on 23 May, 1992.

I think the best people are those, who have courage, and who express what they think and defend what they believe in even when hindered as Giovanni Falcone.

I would like to tell people from other places in the world that the Mafia is a very dangerous criminal organization that it has caused and still causes many deaths today and that together we can defeat it forever and all we need is to is to oppose it as Giovanni Falcone and Borsellino (another Anti-Mafia judge) did.

We can defeat the mafia by uniting and going against people who impose it.

This quote means that in life all the difficulties and the obstacles that we encounter do not necessarily ruin us, but some can be very useful for our future.

So, I mustn't immediately think about the problem and complain, but I have to face it and think about what could be useful for me.

When I feel discouraged and sad during the most difficult problems, I read this sentence to feel relaxed and to convince myself that I can do it.

I chose this quote, because it seemed very encouraging, meaningful and I wanted to share it with everyone to help and encourage other people, who have problems like me.
